Why you should work at Mintlify
Han Wang and Hahnbee Lee recently raised a $45M Series B - and now they're hiring across the company to build the knowledge layer for AI
Han Wang and Hahnbee Lee started Mintlify in 2022 to fix a problem they knew firsthand. Developers could build more world-changing software sooner, if only online documentation wasn’t often stale and hard to use.
Today, Mintlify powers agent-native documentation for over 20,000 companies and reaches more than 100 million people every year. The company 10xed revenue last year - and a few months ago, raised a $45M Series B at a $500M valuation led by a16z, bringing total funding to $67M.
The company still operates with the “builder” ethos of the founders. It’s the type of place where if you see something that needs to be done, you just do it. Mintlify hires people who love to build and who want to roll up their sleeves and obsess over the details (but, quickly).
They have very few meetings, but one meeting they always keep is called “Docs and Donuts” where the team gets together to go through user feedback and dogfood new parts of the product. It’s a close team – shared meals, offsites in far places (like Fairbanks, Alaska) where “egos are not allowed,” and where they work hard but it’s “fun to be in it together.”
Mintlify is hiring across product, engineering, sales, success, marketing, and people ops. They work 5 days per week in-person in San Francisco.
